Things have been quite hectic this past week. Went to a conference this past week and had to present two research posters. One was on Mycobacterium smegmatis [a species similar to tuberculosis] and the other was on fish biomechanics. I was extremely tired afterward but couldn't sleep as I had a grant proposal due the next day on the metabolic costs of maneuverability in fish. Finally this weekend I was able to sleep.

I spent Friday night going to the movies with the girlfriend. "Forbidden Kingdom" was okay, nothing special. The fight scenes were good, but it was not really worth the $10 a ticket. I would pay $3 to rent it, but would not spend the money to go to the theater again.
